On Monday, we put out a call to try and find the law student who came to the aid of John Rowley, a 62-year-old Baker McKenzie partner who was being assaulted by a group of teens in a D.C. Metro station. That student, a 23-year-old GW Law student named Andrew Miller, has now been found, as reported by Fox5:
{snip}
Miller sacrificed to save Rowley, suffering a concussion. Rowley still has facial swelling and bruising (which you can see in this Fox5 video), and he will need surgery so doctors can insert pints to heal the broken bones in his hand that hit a moving train. Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with the assault.

(3,040 posts)1. I guess this Law Student doesn't...
Have to worry about getting a job after passing the bar.
Seriously though, there should be more people like this law student out there. I wonder how many of us would have put ourselves in harms way to save someone?

(57,303 posts)3. It might not be possible to hold a trial in DC.
Rowley is a former Federal prosecutor. He's probably appeared before half the judges or justices in the District.
Did you see what one of his previous jobs was? "Chief Counsel to the US House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform."
