Main freezing rain risk Sunday AM in colder areas of Loudoun co & Frederick co

and west and north between midmorning and early afternoon. Shown here is forecast radar (subtract 5 hours for eastern time). To be safe, check conditions before heading out Sunday morning even closer to DC. Road and walkway surfaces are cold and just a little freezing rain could cause problems.

We got a pile of snow earlier this week and the next day freezing rain followed by freezing temps and a brisk winds. The perfect recipe for an avalanche…of which we had 3 locally that closed highways and interstates. Crazy weather.
