NPS Revises its Peak Bloom Forecast!

Today has seen some major changes to the 2016 peak bloom forecasts.

Early this afternoon the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang issued their forecast of March 24 to 28.

Shortly afterwards, the National Park Service revised their forecast to March 18 to 23. Their initial prediction, issued less than a week ago, was for March 31 to April 3.

Both are in light of much warmer than expected weather forecast for this week and next.

As always, you can find the latest peak bloom forecasts and photos of how the trees are looking at CherryBlossomWatch.com.
