Related: About this forumWhat is the link to look for people licensed in the Florida insurance business?
I know about "myfloridalicense" but I don't see that it is specific to the insurance business. I'm looking for an old friend that I lost contact with, now decades. If she is still here, she might still be working in the insurance business.

She has a very common name, so this is a long shot. She isn't even on Facebook, but she could have married and is using a name that I'm not familiar with.
She was a bridesmaid at my wedding. It's a sin that we lost touch.

This is public information in every state. Generally, just do a search for the particular state such as: Department of Insurance Florida, Department of Insurance California, Department of Insurance Illinois etc
Look for a link to a page on the state's DOI site where you can search for licensed agents by name or license number.
Or, use the National Association of Insurance Commissioners look-up tool. Every licensed agent now has a National Producer Number.

Unfortunately, she's not on the list. Which means that she may be under her married name.
