(34,136 posts)Unfortunately, my husband and I have a guy scheduled to help put plants in the ground tomorrow. The plan is for my husband and him to work on planting until they get too hot, then we have a couple of projects inside that they can work on for the rest of the afternoon.
If I were capable of planting, I'd be dragging my husband's ass out of bed at dawn, work until it starts to heat up and spend the rest of the day inside. But I am not yet allowed to bend or twist so digging holes and separating plants is not on my roster! And those guys make their own schedules when I am not there to push them.

(34,136 posts)I almost got heatstroke that summer and since have no tolerance for much heat. But I'd still get out there and work on my garden if I could. Maybe next winter...
