Six Cases of COVID-19 Linked to Nova Southeastern University (Broward County, FL)

(NBC6) Six people with ties to Nova Southeastern University have tested positive for COVID-19, school officials say.

According to NSU, all of the individuals had traveled to Ireland before the Trump administration announced travel restrictions for Europe and the United Kingdom.

The school was not able to release much information on who the six people were, but NSU says all six individuals - as well as any staff or students who they may have come into contact with - are being asked to self-isolate.

*this is a research university in Davie (just west of Ft. Lauderdale) with 20,000 students and is one of the largest employers in the county. This is not good news....

I was there up until Friday. The library is also a polling location. How will we know who came in contact with them? As with all universities, people intermingle with each other.

The 6 kids that got sick were on a study trip to Ireland, I don't know if they ever returned to campus when they got back....
