Rauner has declared war on moderate Republicans, both on his staff and in Springfield.
Rauner has hired in mass former staff members of the Illinois Policy Institute (IPI), a hardline, right-wing think tank, and its sister organization, Liberty Principles PAC.
Both are tied to a conservative firebrand Dan Proft, a one-time gubernatorial candidate who now runs campaigns against moderate Republicans.

1. He will spend tons of money trying to get hideous tea party types elected but can't help

with a budget for schools or nursing care
No negotiations Ruiner. He doesn't understand how governorship works. Thinks it my way or the highway

Sound familiar out of staters ?? And he is a rich businessman.Sound even more familiar??

In recent weeks, more than twenty high level staffers in the Rauner Administration have been fired or resigned, creating chaos within the administration. Really familiar ??

This is what we are stuck with in Illinois right now

3. Yeah, he's another one who seemed to start campaigning for reelection

From the first day of his administration. I sure hope he's a "one and done" kinda gov.

4. All those ads during the budget holdup. I had out of towers here and I said look what we have to

put up with. The Tv radio ads are nothing but him buying air time to persuade voters to believe BS about dems and budget myths .
Gone soon if money doesn't buy him the next round

5. I've been getting telephone "push polls"

From what has to be his organization or some backers thereof since he got elected. At least every other month, often more frequently. You can tell it's them because they always want to know if I hate Mike Madigan yet.

6. And they stop the poll and say thanks for your time when you don't answer to the push

I figure talking to me and keeping them on the line with me maybe stops one other person from being persuaded and I talk very slooowly

2. Has his admin been in OTHER than chaos EVER?

As an outsider (who lived in Illinois for 10 years,) seems it's been that way for a long time.

7. Meanwhile my friends back in Illinois who work for the state ...

... are being hounded to pay medical costs that are supposed to be covered by the health plan they have been paying premiums on. The state isn't paying them so doctors and hospitals are going after people who have paid for insurance they aren't getting .. thanks to Ruiner. That's what you get when you elect repugs.

8. can't agree more, Rauner has made future elections of republicans for governors near impossible

in Illinois. We have a couple years until he has gone but the damage will take decades to recover from
