I have to admit they are not cheap, but they are so very good! Northern Illinois Cat clinic. They are in Libertyville, on peterson. I have gone there for many years with all my cats. It's like a home environment - the waiting room is carpeted, soft lighting, comfy chairs, soft music. And the best thing - CATS only! So a lot less stress for the cats. Not far from Grayslake....I am much farther. Or there's Best Friends in grayslake, but they are so busy now, I cannot vouch for them anymore. I did work with some of their vets many years ago, they were all good. Specially liked Donna Rausch. The there's Dr. Cox in Lake Zurich at All Creatures animal hosp, he's great ( worked there too) don't know about the other vets there anymore. Still I go to No ill cat clinic because I like the atmosphere and the dr.'s and the way they handle the animals. Good luck with your search! (and if you ever need a cat-sitter, that's been my job for 20 years!)
