But I have seen her speak several times and even had the pleasure of joining her for a cold pop after one of the speeches.
She has a decided Chicago accent - what I have described as the "dese, dem and dose" speakers. Sometimes the 'r' is dropped from words in Chicago. And of course our idiotic press focuses on crap like that.

Surely this has been brought up and will be corrected. I would be amazed if it is not.

Apparently she is still loved out here. When I have told people today they are really excited.
