the legislature in Des Moines. We were 1 vote in the senate away from Terry Branstad turning Iowa into Wisconsin.
I thought we had a good shot at keeping the senate and maybe a shot at even turning the house. After seeing those results in other races I fear we may be all red and Branstad can fulfill his tea bag dreams.

(62,406 posts)5. I did hear on IPR that the Iowa senate is still democratic
by the 1 vote margin they had last session. Hopefully that is enough to deter Branstad's visions of teabag glory.
