6. Wife (under 65) moving to Medicare is a big cost increase over market place plan

and my same market place plan without her will cost more than it did with both of us. Pre-existing condition exclusions are alive and well if you are under 65 and want to buy a Medicare Part B supplemental insurance plan. We were way better off on Market place health insurance.
