Rep. Steve King (R-IA) recently speculated that President Barack Obamas family could have conspired to fake his citizenship by announcing his birth with a telegram from Kenya.
During a tele-townhall event recorded last week, King was asked why he wasnt investigating Obamas ineligibility.

I had a steady stream of this kind of stupid at our county fair booth and they accept it like as the Gospel Truth. The lowest of the week was a woman that just knew if Obama was re-elected he was going to take away womens right to vote. She knew it was true but couldn't tell me where she got this lie.

(62,401 posts)Have you ever taken one of these birfers through just what it is they are saying?
An interracial baby is born overseas and the parents plot a scheme to have him take over the US in 50 years?
Does anyone even remember what a black boy in 1961 America had to look forward to? Drugs, gangs, police brutality, probably wouldn't be able to vote, jail most likely on trumped up charges. Seriously, there were 2 people who were plotting to make this kid president?

(57 posts)... it should also be noted that some speculate Congresswhore Steve King has had sex with young children and farm animals.
So how come wasn't King also asking why no one's investigating King's bestiality and pedophelia"?
In his dipshit, dumbass, teabilly worldview, obviously everything is plausible.
And, Steve, Baaa means No.
