My middle child leaves to go study political science at Iowa the next day, so we figured it would be a great kickoff for his college career and good family outing!

4. Tickets are all gone; there was a huge line yesterday

wrapping around almost an entire city block. Fortunately, because I had helped earlier in the week with calling (there's a lesson there, I think) I was able to score two tickets. They will be going to the new poli sci major (older son starting at Iowa) and my husband, since I can't drive in an environment like that at night.

But there should be a great crowd (imagine this will be so at all the campaign stops in Iowa on Tuesday and Wednesday). If the guys get a decent picture, I'll post it.
