He said a Trump protestor walked past him through the crowd. No one yelled at him or punched him.

We all know that's the same way at a Trump rally.

CEDAR RAPIDS — Eighteen months after her first listening post visit of the 2016 campaign to eastern Iowa, Hillary Clinton closed the loop Friday as she invited Iowans to join her in voting for a “stronger, fairer America.”

Whatever the results of the election, “change is coming,” the Democratic presidential nominees said. “The choice is yours as to what kind of country we will have.”

But it’s not clear what kind of change Americans will choose. Despite what the polls say, despite all the work that has been done to register voters, all the phone calls made, doors knocked, “we’ve got work to do,” Clinton said at an outdoor rally at Cedar Rapids’ NewBo City Market.

It’s still possible Trump, who she called the “poster boy of bad business behavior,” could win the election.
