We will gather at 2 PM next to the steel box sculpture in the driveway that circles the Mid-America Center.

The area is handicap accessible and has benches available for those who may need seating.

If the past year has proven anything, it’s that Vice President Mike Pence and the Republican Party do not care about the working people of America’s Heartland. Through their policy priorities and blatant disrespect for the values of our country, they have shown that they are more loyal to their conservative ideology and special interest donors than the people who trusted them with their votes.

They have spent the last year in office telling lies to Midwest families. We deserve better than to be constantly lied to by the GOP

The GOP Tax Scam – which disproportionately benefits the wealthy and corporations at the expense of working America – is an insult to the values we hold dear.

On Tuesday March 6th at 2:00 PM, the Heartland will rise to respond to Vice President Mike Pence and his deliberate attempt to deceive the working families about the GOP Tax Scam.

A brief speaking program will begin at 2:30 to highlight the real impacts of this bill in the Heartland.
