Iowa Poll: Registered Republicans view Joni Ernst, Chuck Grassley, Kim Reynolds favorably

In the body of story the poll question

Registered Republicans who don't plan to participate in the Democratic caucuses were asked: "I'm going to mention some prominent people. For each, please tell me if your feelings are very favorable, mostly favorable, mostly unfavorable, or very unfavorable."

Happy Headline Poll results

Second Happy Headline Poll results but just inside repubican party.

Poll results reflect opinions of repubicans not joining another party by February.

Happy Happy we love our useless politicians if we only ask the right people.

That whole poll was a waste of time.

Also, their favorables went down and they chose that headline? Turns out that "reporter" also wrote another article that didn't make it to the front page: Iowa Politics Newsletter: Likely caucusgoers aren't unified on health care; Republicans' opinion of Iowa's U.S. senators falls, poll finds. Wonder why they went with the headline that makes joni and chuck look good?

The Register is starting to piss me off. We've been getting the Sunday delivered for about three years now. The last three months, we've received two papers. Trying to get this sorted has been a pain in the ass.

wonder what kind of changes will be coming?
My guess is it won't be good for news in Iowa.

the DMR is the big paper in Iowa and a Gannet paper. My guess is we will see big cutbacks to save money which will in turn impact quality. Maybe it already has?

I am old enough to remember the DMR's glory days from the 50s through the 70s.
