3. she is probably a republican, but ran as a democrat because that is what party her mother

was in and she wanted people to think she was her mother.
If I were in a job in a county making 4 times the median salary in a cushy job with benefits, I would damn well keep my head down and do a quiet job, I think even if she survives jail, she will be ejected by the voters who now know who she is. And what she is being paid!

ETA - now that people see what they can be paid, I expect there will be lots of people trying for this job.

...I realize that Kim is his mother and that it could make family gatherings kind of awkward....
...but hey, with their family history, I'd say they're probably already a tad bit on the awkward side.
