Bank employee in northeastern Kentucky charged in $1 million forgery scheme

ASHLAND, Ky. (KT) – A bank executive in northeastern Kentucky is facing multiple charges after processing loans for more than $1 million to fake clients.

Martin Ross, 52, a senior vice president with Town Square Bank, is charged with forgery, possession of a forgery device, filing an illegal lien and theft of identity without consent.

An arrest citation said information was gathered from Town Square Bank in Ashland, that he had processed loans through the bank for several fictitious clients.
