local paper headline: Up by 13 %.
'Since Thursday, Oct. 27, for eight days straight, Calvert County registered voters have a chance to cast their ballot early for their candidate of choice in the 2016 General Election.
On the first day of early voting, there were a record-breaking 1,941 county voters. Democrats came out in force with 943 voting, overshadowing Republicans, who had voter totals of 762. The Green Party, Libertarian Party and unaffiliated voters accounted for 236 of other party voters. The figures do not include provisional and absentee ballots.
We had 38 people in line when early voting opened, said Mary DePelteau of the Calvert County Election Board.
Today has been steady so far, but not quite as heavy as the first day, DePelteau said midday on Friday.
However, traffic would eventually pick up, as the second day totals surpassed the first day with 1,996 early voters. Republican voters narrowed the gap to within 49 votes on the second day, but still trailed Democrats. The trend is consistent statewide; 122,880 of Marylands nearly 3.9 million voters showed up at early voting polling places on the first day. The party breakdown includes 83,086 Democrats and 26,672 Republicans.'>>>

Happy to see this. As I mostly live in Calvert, I'm officially in MontCo, so I'll return to Sil Spg for Tuesday to vote.
