Driver hit by pipe that smashes through windshield of car, lanes blocked on I-270 in Md.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (ABC7) — A driver has been injured after being struck by a pipe that went through the windshield of the vehicle Monday afternoon. The incident is blocking three lanes on I-270 in Montgomery County.
Maryland State Police say the driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and add it's unknown at this time how the pipe ended up hitting the car.
A trooper is heading to the hospital to try to speak to the driver.
The accident occurred on southbound I-270 between Middlebrook Road and Montgomery Avenue.
