Mail-in Ballots - What I sent to Governor Hogan
I am very, very concerned about elections. I do not want to vote in person this year. I think a lot of people don't. What we did with the primaries wasn't perfect, but it resulted in high voter turnout, and I think that's ultimately what we want. I would like to see mail-in ballot availability ramped up. Best case, send an absentee ballot to every voter. Next best, send an absentee ballot request form to every voter.
The BoE website right now is not mail-in ballot friendly. According to the website, to deliver a ballot in person, you have to go to the local Board of Elections - which is CLOSED, or drop it off at your polling place on election day (DEFEATS THE PURPOSE!!!!!) We can do better than this.. Please make it right.
