The vigil will include organizer and Air Force veteran Michael Thurman who will speak about the Bradley Manning court martial and support campaign past, present and future. He will also be joined by Graham Clumpner and Joshua Shepherd from Iraq Veterans Against the War.
Location/Route: Meet in the park at the corner of Main Street SE (River Place) and E. Hennepin Avenue to begin walk across the Hennepin Avenue Bridge. We will go from east to west across the bridge and then walk down W. River Road, crossing back over the river via the Stone Arch Bridge to Father Hennepin Park, and then walk back to the starting point on Main Street SE. The route is a little shorter than two miles and will move at a slow pace. If youre running late, feel free to join us at any point along the route.

What to bring: Signs you can wear or easily carrythis is a mobile event! Well supply stickers and literature to hand out. Please remember to bring water on hot days.
Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome to join us for this weekly walk and outreach event. If you enjoy music or movies in the park, you may also want to plan on staying for the music/movie series at Father Hennepin Park, which starts at 7 PM every Tuesday.
