The mail is sorted in case it might have something dangerous inside, but a post card is easily checked and sent thru.

what are called sanctions on SNAP and cash benefits are scheduled to back into effect as of 10/1
sanctions reduce or cut off cash and snap benefits across the board on recipients of MFIP and General assistance, most often the sanctions are for being considered non-compliant with the work or work readiness requirements of either program, and unless things have drastically changed since the late 1990's when I was for a time an MFIP recipient what is considered non-compliant is left largely to whim of the 'job counselor'.
