In the Minnesota delegation, every Republican voted Yes. Every Democrat voted No.
Also, in the entire House, every Democrat voted No.

(45,850 posts)what are called sanctions on SNAP and cash benefits are scheduled to back into effect as of 10/1
sanctions reduce or cut off cash and snap benefits across the board on recipients of MFIP and General assistance, most often the sanctions are for being considered non-compliant with the work or work readiness requirements of either program, and unless things have drastically changed since the late 1990's when I was for a time an MFIP recipient what is considered non-compliant is left largely to whim of the 'job counselor'.
