Ask Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar to oppose Fast Track.

Last edited Thu May 21, 2015, 01:48 PM - Edit history (1)

Update: Fast Track passed the Senate, with Franken and Klobuchar voting No.

==============

Fast Track = no Trade Deals can be filibustered for the next six years.

Senate Democrats are in the minority. Passing Fast Track would make them powerless against any awful trade deals for the rest of this term and any future period when they're in the minority during the next six years.

Please ask Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar to continue to oppose Fast Track. They both voted against it once, but Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will bring up Fast Track, again.

"Fast Track" passed the Senate. Franken and Klobuchar both voted No.

If "Fast Track" passes the House, too, then it will be impossible to filibuster trade deals for the next six years.

The Senators from WA state are both Democrats, but both voted Yes to help Boeing (they traded their votes in a deal to support the Import Export Bank which helps Boeing.)
