We Fundraiser for buses to Chicago: Say NO to War and Poverty! No to NATO!!

(come with us if you can.. we want to have at least 2 buses to protest NATO.. young, old, students, workers, retired have already bought their tickets. Hope you can too)

Saturday, April 21 5 pm @ Black Dog Café St Paul

308 Prince Street (corner of Broadway and Prince St) in Lower Town St. Paul

Join us for hors d'oeuvres. Coffee and wine cash bar. Extra food available for purchase.

There will be live music & Misty Rowan’s spoken word.

Ride the bus to Chicago Sat. May 19 to protest the meeting of NATO and G8 imperial powers .

Tell them NO! No more wars! No more poverty! Share the wealth, save the planet, live in peace.

NATO is the US-commanded and US-financed 28 nation military alliance that has been a leading force for war in Afghanistan and Libya.

G8, the main economic council of wealthy nations, including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, US, Canada and Russia, imposed cut backs and has been a recipe for poverty across the globe causing pain and misery.

It is important for both the anti-war and the economic justice/Occupy Wall Street movements to seize the opportunity of this historic meeting of these two organizations to demand money for Jobs, Housing, Healthcare, Education, Pensions, the Environment!

Sponsored by: Minnesota Peace Action Coalition, Anti-War Committee & Women Against Military Madness.

This will be a good time and we'll be doing good and important work; raising money to send as many people as possible to Chicago May 20th to march against NATO, the world's most vicious and powerful warmongers.

It is very important that the youth and low income people, those most directly affected by the G8 and NATO's agenda of wars and
poverty, are able to go to Chicago to be able to hold accountable these hired guns for the banksters.

For those of you coming from south Mpls, the ramp from 35w onto Hwy 94 will be closed this weekend.

There will no doubt be detour signs but a fast alternative is to take
35W to Hwy 36, then 35E South, to 94 E.
Get off almost immediately on 7th Street and find your way to the Black Dog, close to the fabulous St. Paul Farmers Mkt..

Hope to see you Sat.

If you are unable to come but want to contribute make your check out the the Antiwar Committe, put buses in the memo line and send to WAMM 310 East 38th St. #222 Mpls 55409
