All charges dropped against UMN law professor accused of stalking, rape
Charges against a University of Minnesota law professor accused of raping and stalking an ex-girlfriend were dropped Thursday.
Criminal sexual conduct and stalking charges against Francesco Parisi, which were filed late last month, were dropped because the allegations couldn’t be substantiated, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office said in a press release.
In the statement, the attorney's office said it would have no further comment.
“Considering all of the evidence that we have now, the charges are no longer supported by probable cause are hereby dismissed in the interests of Justice,” the attorney’s office said in a court document.
