NEW BLOOMFIELD — The coronavirus has driven some mid-Missouri students from their classrooms to their homes.
Southern Boone School District officials announced students will learn from home on Jan. 6 and 7 because of staffing issues.
In a letter to families, Superintendent Christopher Felmlee added a shortage of substitute teachers connected to COVID positive cases is also a contributing factor in the district's decision to switch to remote learning.
