A CHILD was SHOT at the Manchester, NH YWCA this morning.

Apparently the father shot the child, and then himself.

The YWCA is open on Sunday for "parental exchange" of children in shared custody scenarios.

There aren't many details available, yet.

Not much at this link now, but they say they will update:

To say nothing of anyone else who was in the facility -- likely stressed out already owing to restraining orders and no contact orders and things of that nature -- having to deal with that shit.

Once I came upon a situation similar to that--I arrived at a location where, minutes before, an asshole murdered his wife and infant child, then shot himself. The police were not even there yet. Gruesome scene. A pre-teen son was told by the mother to run as she saw the guy approach, and call police. The kid took off and was able to call, but it was too late.

The pre-teen kid survived, the rest of his family was gone in a blink.

I just can't imagine the trauma.
