Hassan assigned to Homeland Security, Health committees
U.S. Sen.-elect Maggie Hassan, D-NH, said Thursday her committee assignments include Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committees.
Additional Senate committee assignments will be announced soon and they are subject to approval of the Democratic Party caucus and the full Senate.
“I’m honored to be appointed to these important Senate committees that will allow me to continue to focus on critical New Hampshire priorities, Hassan said in a statement.
She cited the economy, small businesses, and national security among her priorities in 2017.
