before Election Day. To be registered for the November 6th, 2012 general election,
you must register no later than October 16th, 2012.

WHAT TO BRING
If this is your first time voting in a federal election in New Jersey, you may be
asked to present ID prior to voting on Election Day. Identification may
include(but is not limited to):
A New Jersey driver's license
Another valid photo ID
A current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, or other government
document that shows your current and complete name and current
address.
If youve previously voted in a federal election in New Jersey, you dont need to
bring an ID with you to the polls.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 and polls will be open

VOTE EARLY OR BY MAIL:
New Jersey has absentee voting for any registered voter, and no excuse is required.
To receive your ballot by mail, an application must be received by your County Clerk
seven days before the election. You may also apply in person to the County Clerk until
3:00 p.m. the day before the election. If you want to vote by absentee ballot in the
General Election and are not applying in person, you should make your request no
later than October 30th, 2012. Your mail-in ballot must be received by the County
Clerk before the polls close on Election Day.
