YEAH!

Oh wait. That means 73% are not proficient in English?

there is a bit of leeway when testing only goes up to the 11th grade. However, it means that a lot needs to be covered in 12th grade.

It is scary that the students are not mastering either language arts or math at the level necessary to succeed in college. There is nothing to brag about with the overall scores at this point. I would not expect the scores to get near 100%, but I think that a goal of 60%-70% is attainable keeping in mind that some students are not suited for a college experience. Hopefully, those who aren't will be able to get vocational training so that they can support themselves in the future.
