Ex-prosecutor says former Brooklyn DA Charles Hynes’ attorney told her to lie

A former Brooklyn prosecutor claims she was “directed” by then-District Attorney Charles Hynes’ legal counsel to sign a sworn affidavit that contained false and misleading information, according to court papers.

In a letter to a federal judge, Barbara Burke claims she was following the orders of top deputy Dino Amoroso when she submitted the original affidavit last summer in connection with the $150 million wrongful conviction lawsuit brought by Jabbar Collins.
