Construction workers protest wage theft and poor working conditions on Pace University dorm job

Dozens of building workers protested wage theft and unfair working conditions Thursday in front of a dormitory being constructed for Pace University, which hired a subcontractor with a history of mistreating employees.

The workers claim subcontractor Thomas Auringer, who is the subject of a class action lawsuit filed last summer, violated federal minimum wage and overtime laws.
