Mayor de Blasio celebrates his 20th wedding anniversary

It's a big day for Mayor de Blasio - and not because of he's giving the key note speech at the New York State Association for Affordable Housing's annual conference.

Hizzoner is celebrating his 20th wedding anniversary with First Lady Chirlane McCray, who he calls his "guiding light," his "reality check" and his "soul mate."

The city's First Couple were married in a small ceremony in Prospect Park by two gay ministers, just over two years after meeting in City Hall. Both were low-level aides to then-Mayor David Dinkins. De Blasio said it was "love at first sight," but McCray took a little longer to warm up to the futer 109th mayor.
