Schumer says sites for a WNY veterans cemetery get clean environmental bill of health

The Department of Veterans Affairs has announced studies of three Western New York sites being considered for the nation’s newest veterans cemetery show no environmental problems.

Sen. Charles Schuner, D-N.Y., said the assessments will be released today, and a decision on the final site is expected soon.
