After an even more bizarre 5 day absence from public view. I guess he was practicing. I think he needs more practice.

At what point do we get tired of this sort of thing?

Yesterday's NY Times account of Monday's Christie-esque conference. ( A little obiter dicta thrown in for good measure. Entire story at the link. )

Mr. Cuomo, who ran for office with promises to clean up state politics, established the commission with great fanfare in July 2013. Federal prosecutors are now investigating the roles of Mr. Cuomo and his aides in the panel’s shutdown and are pursuing its unfinished investigations.

Mr. Cuomo was spirited, and at times truculent, in explaining his office’s handling of the commission on Monday. But some of his comments contradicted what his office had written in the 13-page statement to The Times — which itself had contradicted some of the governor’s earlier public declarations.>>>>>
