Third major union passes passes on Cuomo

Gov. Andrew Cuomo was snubbed by a third major labor union when the 2.5 million member New York chapter of the AFL-CIO decided to not make any endorsements for governor this year.

The AFL-CIO decision follows a similar move by the New York State United Teachers and comes less than a week after the Public Employee Federation endorsed Cuomo's Democratic primary challenger Zephyr Teachout.
