A Democratic challenger to Gov. Andrew Cuomo picked up a new endorsement over the weekend from the state chapter of a major women’s group.

The New York state chapter of the National Organization for Women endorsed Zephyr Teachout’s campaign for governor of New York on Saturday, despite an effort by Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s campaign to create a Women’s Equality Party ballot line.
