ROME, N.Y. - Want to buy an abandoned state prison?

Queen Anne's lace, sumac and ragweed have taken over the grounds of the former Oneida Correctional Facility in the three years since New York state moved the prisoners out and put it up for sale.

Paint peels in great sheets from the walls from the grand entrance to the dormitory-style rooms where inmates lived with one bed and two lockers and 997 of their friends. Mold grows in the mess hall.
