The snow has started in Brooklyn.

It is expected to be little or no accumulation here but interior parts of the state might get over a foot of wet snow.

Here in Philly burbs. We're in the dreaded "northern and western suburbs" that always get more snow than the city. Thankfully I took a vacation day to cook and clean for tomorrow and I damned well better not be doing it for nothing! My relatives are traveling tomorrow and it should all be melted & wet roads by then.

I intended to go away for the holiday, but didn't make it. The local weather guy made a point of saying it won't actually be winter for another three weeks.
