New York City's finances are in better shape than the de Blasio administration believes, according to an independent analysis released Friday.

Property and income tax revenues are projected to be higher and budget deficits smaller in future years, the Independent Budget Office wrote in its review of the mayor's Fiscal Year 2016 executive budget.
