Jeremiah Moss s a man on a mission: saving and preserving New York City. Moss runs Jeremiah’s Vanishing New York, a blog that chronicles the many closings of mom-and-pop stores in New York.

Moss, whose name is a pseudonym, thinks neighborhood anchors and mom and pop businesses that have thrived for decades, are fast closing. While he won't go public with his real name, he divulged that he’s in his forties, not a native New Yorker, and once tried to write a novel.
