“Voters across New York will receive a special ‘I Voted’ sticker to honor the women of New York’s suffrage movement and celebrate all that has been accomplished since,” Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul said in a mass email announcing the vote.

The options are:

Is the easiest for my eyes to read even when fuzzied up a bit by the MS optic neurosis so I figure it will make a nice strong statement that we're here, we VOTE and we won't go back.

I must admit to being a bit disappointed when I got the email about the choice.

The only place I ever got an "I Voted" sticker was here on DU!

An "I voted" sticker. They had a ton of them as we walked out and they said I could grab a few when the nice election worker at the door noticed me eying them.

As always it's good to see you.

Or it's possible they ran out. Think I told you, I stupidly had dental surgery on election day - planned to vote on my way there, but I should know myself better than that. It was very busy when I stopped on my way home and I thought that was a good sign. I just had trouble saying my name since half of my face was still numb. There wasn't a line except to stick the ballot in the machine, but even that wasn't very long. But for this rural town, there was a big turnout. And I have to say that I only saw two Trump bumper stickers in all my travels.

I'm just hoping we can unseat Stefanik. The fact that people are noticing - and protesting - is a really good sign. Last I knew, there were numerous candidates stepping up, not just Democrat Patrick Nelson - and including another Republican. I just hope having so many candidates doesn't split the vote.

Good to see you, too, my friend! I miss that corner of DU...
