managed to find its new home here. No word yet if it carries any nasties, but it's a tick, so just assume the little bloodsucker has a way to make you sick. Or kill you.
Unwitting irony-- the newscaster giving us the story was out with the county bugwatchers gallivanting through the woods. Her closing words were warning us all to wear tick proof clothing, but she was wearing a short skirt, bare legs, and sandals.
