Daily News Backs Quinn In Race For City Hall

A day after NY1's lively debate, Christine Quinn has picked up a major newspaper endorsement in the mayor's race.
Under the headline "She's the One," the Daily News says it is throwing its support behind the City Council Speaker in the Democratic mayoral primary.
The News says Quinn is the best Democratic candidate to build on the successes of the Bloomberg administration while also addressing its shortcomings.
The paper says it's endorsing Quinn because she, "Combines the clearest understanding of the difficulties facing the city with the most extensive record of getting things done."
