NY1News
The death of a transgender woman in Upper Manhattan has now been ruled a homicide.
The medical examiner says 21-year-old Islan Nettles died from blunt impact injuries to her head.
Nettles was with another transgender woman last Saturday night near 147th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard.
Police say the pair met a group of men who attacked them once they realized that Nettles and her friend weren't born as females.

Quite a few people shouldn't be on this Earth.

(25,348 posts)3. I don't believe in the death penalty ....not because I think it's wrong but because it's used..
...unfairly.
I think 35-40 years will be enough
