Cuomo’s Buffalo fundraiser draws fracking, SAFE Act protesters

by Jon Campbell

Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s political fundraiser at a downtown Buffalo hotel last night drew a couple hundred protesters—some opposed to hydrofracking for natural gas, others opposed to the state’s gun laws, according to Gannett’s WGRZ-TV.

The protests had been expected outside of the Hyatt Regency, with fracking protesters handing out postcards to attendees and former (and future?) gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino taking to the airwaves to urge SAFE Act opponents and fracking supporters to show up.
