NY1NEWS
Sunday marks 33 years since the death of John Lennon.
Fans of the legendary musician gathered at Strawberry Fields in Central Park as they do every year.
Tributes spoken, written and sung will fill the air near the Dakota Apartment building on the Upper West Side, where Lennon was shot to death by mentally disturbed fan Mark David Chapman.
Chapman is serving a sentence of 20 years to life in prison
