Woman charged with using child to break into home through doggie door

GERMANTOWN – A Columbia County woman is under arrest, charged with three felony counts of burglary and other charges after she allegedly broke into an acquaintance’s Germantown home with the intention of stealing from her.

State Police said on two occasions, Heather Breault, 33, of Cairo, allegedly used an 11-year-old child to enter the home through a dog door for the purpose of stealing from inside.

In addition to the burglary charge, Breault was charged with felony criminal solicitation and two counts of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
