I'm originally from NJ and watched the Meadowlands built and then I watched from afar it being torn down and replaced. Does MetLife have artificial turf? Could make a difference

For the last 30 years.....the Hawks naturally

Saw you were a Met fan......did they move in the fences? Vaguely remember seeing the Dodgers in Ebbets (sp) Field and the Giants at the Polo Grounds. Sorry to see them move. I had a neighbor who was such rabid Dodger fan that he moved his family to LA after the team moved.

Me.......I'm partial to the Yankees, but they really piss me off most of the time. Just too haughty...like the titles belong to them because they can buy it. Some great players, but management sucks.

Enough of the rant

Loved my time there. Great, local bagels. I remember when I got out of the army and was working in the civilian world out here on the left coast.......people I worked with raved about a new bagel company that opened up. I remember saying these are bagels????????

The next month I travelled for business and wound up in Ft Hamilton area. I sent 2 dozen bagels,to my work via FexEx.......With the note..........Now these are bagels!??!

Because it would be nearly twice as warm and the roads wouldn't be all black ice.
